Magic everywhere! Disneyland Paris
by Little Fairy Project on 30 Sep 2016
Disneyland Paris has to be one of the, if not the most magical place in Europe. So no wonder we’ve been thinking for quite some time of taking there our little ones.
In May, we came across an amazing Disneyland offer for Summer 2016 and without further a due, we made reservation for three nights and four days in one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. I have to say, considering all that had been going on in France during the last year and a half I had my suspicions, I even though of cancelling the whole stay at one point, but fortunately, I did no such a thing! Without a doubt, there were much less tourist than during our first visit three years ago and it was a bit strange seeing such a place in August, during the Summer vacation almost half empty. But nevertheless, we had a whale of time! Our wait times for attractions were considerably cut, from an average of 70 minutes of wait time three years ago, it came down to an average 20 minutes this year. So you can imagine that we enjoyed the park to the limits!
Now Disneyland Resort includes two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios, entrance to both is included in the ticket price. Opening hours are: for Disneyland Park 10Am-11PM ad for Walt Disney Studios 10AM-10PM.
Disneyland park is divided into three lands, all accessible from the Main Street U.S.A. leading from the Park entrance to the Sleeping Beauty Castle. These lands are called: Fantasyland, Adventureland and Discoveryland and contain 40 attractions, all very different and super exciting.
Inside the park there are several spots where you can take photos with your favourite Disney characters. If you want to take photos with Mickey Mouse or Disney Princesses you should definitely visit Meet Mickey Mouse and Princess Pavilion. Careful, waiting time for these attractions is always a bit long, so plan carefully your visit.
One extremely important thing: if you’re staying in one of the Disneyland Hotels, you can enter the park before everybody else, at 8AM. Not all the attractions are open at this hour, but most of them are. Use this advantage and you can get on many attractions which during the normal opening hours get packed (Dumbo ride or Carousel for instance).
Walt Disney Theme park is a place where you can find out all about the most magical scenes of Disney film and television. There is one total of thirteen attractions and not all are for the littlest ones. The newest one is Ratatouille: the adventure, but one of our favourites is definitely The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It is absolutely amazing!
